ART
Business Intelligence for Property
Management
The Adept Reporting Tool (ART) provides a simple, yet powerful,
solution to your business intelligence needs. Using ART, you can
quickly extract information from your Adept property management
application and present it in the form of reports, charts and
cross-tabulations. For example, you might use ART to produce
a bar graph showing the breakdown of rental income by year of lease
expiry and then distribute that information to the owner of the
portfolio. Alternatively, you might wish to chart tenant arrears by
property manager and incorporate the information into a board
report.
Ease of Use
ART's user interface is aligned with the principle of 'what you
see is what you get' and will allow you to create your own reports
and queries, in real-time, on any data stored in the application.
Data can be selected using drag and drop and filtered through a
wide range of filter operators.
Creating a report is a simple four step process - first, choose
what type of report you want; second, select what fields you would
like displayed on the report; third, choose what type of data you
would like displayed on the report; and lastly, pick the format you
would like for the report. Reports can be simple queries,
cross-tabulations or charts (bar, column, line, area, pie and
point). You can create reports that drill down from a summary level
to a detailed level, and you can select multiple output types
including Excel, Word or PDF.
Once a report has been created, it can be shared with other
users and the reports can be built to prompt the user at runtime to
enter specific criteria. For example, you might build a report to
show details of tenants within a particular building. At runtime,
the report can prompt the user to enter a building name or number
and then extract the details for that particular building. All
reports can be secured or shared with specific colleagues according
to your needs.
Report scheduling and automatic
distribution
ART provides an integrated report scheduler. The scheduler
allows you to specify the frequency at which a report should be run
(daily, weekly, monthly) and the time at which it should execute.
Information can then be automatically distributed by email allowing
you, for example, to deliver reports to sales staff or management
for viewing on a smart device.

Highlights include:
- drill down reports
- ability to email reports to smart devices
- multiple output types including Excel, Word and PDF
- facility to schedule reports for specific date and time
- formula editor to create and maintain additional calculated
fields
- ease of use and exception reporting
